Argyranthemum frutescens merupakan tumbuhan perdu atau perdu kecil dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Kepulauan Kanaria. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan marguerite. Nama ilmiah Argyranthemum frutescens pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Heinrich "Bipontinus" Schultz pada tahun 1844.
