Aristida achalensis merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Argentina bagian utara. Nama ilmiah Aristida achalensis diperkenalkan oleh Carl Christian Mez pada tahun 1921.
