Aristida congesta adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun atau semusim dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Afrika beriklim kering, Madagaskar. Nama ilmiah Aristida congesta pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Johann Jacob Roemer pada tahun 1817.
