Aristida diffusa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Zimbabwe hingga Afrika Selatan. Nama ilmiah Aristida diffusa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Bernhard von Trinius pada tahun 1830.
