Aristida hamulosa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Amerika Serikat bagian barat daya dan selatan-tengah hingga Honduras. Nama ilmiah Aristida hamulosa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Johannes Theodoor Henrard pada tahun 1926.
