Aristida jorullensis merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko, Venezuela, hingga Trinidad. Nama ilmiah Aristida jorullensis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Sigismund Kunth pada tahun 1829.
