Aristida leptura adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Somalia hingga Tanzania. Nama ilmiah Aristida leptura diperkenalkan oleh Thomas Arthur Cope pada tahun 1992.
