Aristida oligantha adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kanada selatan hingga Amerika Serikat, Meksiko (Coahuila). Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan prairie threeawn. Nama ilmiah Aristida oligantha diperkenalkan oleh André Michaux pada tahun 1803.
