Aristida pedroensis merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Argentina barat laut. Nama ilmiah Aristida pedroensis diperkenalkan oleh Johannes Theodoor Henrard pada tahun 1932.
