Aristida refracta merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Karibia. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan islandthicket threeawn. Nama ilmiah Aristida refracta diperkenalkan oleh August Heinrich Rudolf Grisebach pada tahun 1866.
