Arracacia atropurpurea adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Apiaceae (suku adas-adasan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko hingga Guatemala. Nama ilmiah Arracacia atropurpurea diperkenalkan oleh Johann Georg Christian Lehmann pada tahun 1880.
