Artemisia alba adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Eropa. Nama ilmiah Artemisia alba diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Antonio Turra pada tahun 1764.
