Artemisia campestris subsp. alpina merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim dingin (subalpin atau subarktik) di wilayah Alpen, Carpathians selatan. Nama ilmiah Artemisia campestris subsp. alpina diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Augustin Pyramus de Candolle pada tahun 1882.
