Artemisia dumosa merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Afghanistan hingga Asia tengah. Nama ilmiah Artemisia dumosa diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Petr Petrovich Poljakov pada tahun 1954.
