Artemisia gilvescens adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari China, Jepang (Honshu, Shikoku), hingga Nansei-shoto. Nama ilmiah Artemisia gilvescens diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Friedrich Anton Wilhelm Miquel pada tahun 1866.
