Artemisia maritima adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Eropa utara dan barat. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan sea wormwood. Nama ilmiah Artemisia maritima diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carolus Linnaeus pada tahun 1753.
