Artemisia nutans merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Eropa timur hingga Siberia barat. Nama ilmiah Artemisia nutans diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carl Ludwig von Willdenow pada tahun 1803.
