Artemisia papposa merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang Oregon hingga Idaho dan Nevada. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan owyhee sage. Nama ilmiah Artemisia papposa diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Sidney Fay Blake pada tahun 1950.
