Artemisia saharae merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Afrika barat laut. Nama ilmiah Artemisia saharae diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Auguste Pomel pada tahun 1874.
