Artemisia umbelliformis merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Eropa. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan alps wormwood. Nama ilmiah Artemisia umbelliformis diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Jean-Baptiste Lamarck pada tahun 1783.
