Arthraxon typicus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Nepal, China (Yunnan, Guangdong), hingga Jawa. Nama ilmiah Arthraxon typicus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Lodewijk Hendrik Büse pada tahun 1911.
