Arthropteris altescandens adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Polypodiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Kepulauan Juan Fernández. Nama ilmiah Arthropteris altescandens pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Luigi Aloysius Colla pada tahun 1875.
