Arthropteris orientalis merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Polypodiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di kawasan tropis Afrika, Samudera Hindia bagian barat, Yaman utara. Nama ilmiah Arthropteris orientalis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Johann Friedrich Gmelin pada tahun 1924.
