Arum hygrophilum merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Araceae (suku talas-talasan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk bonggol berbentuk umbi. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Maroko timur laut, Siprus timur, Türkiye barat, Suriah barat daya hingga Yordania barat. Nama ilmiah Arum hygrophilum diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Pierre Edmond Boissier pada tahun 1854.
