Aruncus parvulus merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Rosaceae (suku mawar-mawaran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Rusia Timur Jauh selatan. Nama ilmiah Aruncus parvulus diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Vladimir Leontyevich Komarov pada tahun 1932.
