Arundinella nepalensis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Afrika, Jazirah Arab selatan, anak benua India hingga Indo-China, Australia utara dan timur. Nama ilmiah Arundinella nepalensis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Bernhard von Trinius pada tahun 1826.
