Asarum costatum merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Aristolochiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Jepang (Shikoku: Kochi Pref. timur). Nama ilmiah Asarum costatum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Fumio Maekawa pada tahun 2006.
