Asarum hypogynum merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Aristolochiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Taiwan. Nama ilmiah Asarum hypogynum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Bunzō Hayata pada tahun 1915.
