Asclepias praemorsa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Apocynaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Provinsi Cape timur hingga KwaZulu-Natal. Nama ilmiah Asclepias praemorsa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Rudolf Schlechter pada tahun 1896.
