Aspalathus commutata adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Provinsi Cape. Nama ilmiah Aspalathus commutata pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Julius Rudolph Theodor Vogel pada tahun 1963.
