Aspalathus ferox adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu atau perdu kecil dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Provinsi Cape (Breede River Valley). Nama ilmiah Aspalathus ferox pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis William Henry Harvey pada tahun 1862.
