Aspilia platyphylla merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Brazil tengah. Nama ilmiah Aspilia platyphylla pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Sidney Fay Blake pada tahun 1918.
