Asplenium scolopendrium subsp. japonicum merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Aspleniaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Siberia timur hingga Rusia Timur Jauh selatan dan wilayah Asia Timur yang beriklim sedang. Nama ilmiah Asplenium scolopendrium subsp. japonicum diperkenalkan oleh Vladimir Leontyevich Komarov pada tahun 1991.
