Asplenium trichomanes merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Aspleniaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan tumbuh menempel pada batang pohon lain (epifit). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di hampir seluruh dunia. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan maidenhair spleenwort. Nama ilmiah Asplenium trichomanes pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carolus Linnaeus dalam Species Plantarum tahun 1753.
