Astelia argyrocoma merupakan tumbuhan epifit dari famili Asteliaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kepulauan Hawaii (Kauai). Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan silverhair pineapplegrass. Nama ilmiah Astelia argyrocoma pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Amos Arthur Heller pada tahun 1934.
