Aster alatipes merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari China tengah dan selatan. Nama ilmiah Aster alatipes diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama William Botting Hemsley pada tahun 1888.
