Aster asteroides adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim dingin (subalpin atau subarktik) dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Qinghai selatan hingga Himalaya timur dan China (Sichuan barat daya dan Yunnan barat laut). Nama ilmiah Aster asteroides pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Augustin Pyramus de Candolle pada tahun 1891.
