Aster flaccidus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim dingin (subalpin atau subarktik) dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Iran hingga Siberia selatan dan China. Nama ilmiah Aster flaccidus diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Alexander Andrejewitsch von Bunge pada tahun 1835.
