Aster holohermaphroditus merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Pakistan hingga Himalaya barat. Nama ilmiah Aster holohermaphroditus diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Andrew John Charles Grierson pada tahun 2021.
