Aster lipskii merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Qinghai timur. Nama ilmiah Aster lipskii diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Vladimir Leontyevich Komarov pada tahun 1921.
