Aster molliusculus var. minor merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim dingin (subalpin atau subarktik) di wilayah Himalaya barat. Nama ilmiah Aster molliusculus var. minor pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Andrew John Charles Grierson pada tahun 1964.
