Asterothamnus heteropappoides adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Siberia barat daya hingga Mongolia barat. Nama ilmiah Asterothamnus heteropappoides pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Ivan Vassiljevich Novopokrovsky pada tahun 1950.
