Astilbe microphylla var. riparia merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Saxifragaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Jepang (Kyushu: Kagoshima Pref.). Nama ilmiah Astilbe microphylla var. riparia diperkenalkan oleh Sumihiko Hatusima pada tahun 1968.
