Astraea jatropha adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Brazil (Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais). Nama ilmiah Astraea jatropha diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Johannes Müller Argoviensis pada tahun 2011.
