Astragalus anemophilus merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Meksiko (Baja California barat laut). Nama ilmiah Astragalus anemophilus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Edward Lee Greene pada tahun 1885.
