Astragalus atropubescens adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Idaho hingga Montana. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan hangingpod milkvetch. Nama ilmiah Astragalus atropubescens pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis John Merle Coulter pada tahun 1893.
