Astragalus brachytropis merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Kaukasia. Nama ilmiah Astragalus brachytropis diperkenalkan oleh Christian von Steven pada tahun 1831.
