Astragalus jodostachys merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Türkiye timur hingga Iran barat laut. Nama ilmiah Astragalus jodostachys diperkenalkan oleh Pierre Edmond Boissier pada tahun 1860.
