Astragalus polybotrys merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Afghanistan timur hingga Pakistan barat. Nama ilmiah Astragalus polybotrys diperkenalkan oleh Pierre Edmond Boissier pada tahun 1849.
