Astragalus pterocarpus merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Nevada. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan winged milkvetch. Nama ilmiah Astragalus pterocarpus diperkenalkan oleh Sereno Watson pada tahun 1871.
